We recognize that play is a fundamental aspect of early childhood education. Therefore, we create a rich, stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and explore through imaginative and purposeful play, ensuring they thrive in all areas of development.

🌱 Our Origin Story
Dandelion Dreams began as a vision to create something more than childcare — a center where families feel supported, educators feel valued, and children feel truly seen. Founded in 2024 by early childhood professionals with a deep love for nature, learning, and community, Dandelion Dreams opened its doors in a newly constructed, purpose-built facilitydesigned to meet the developmental needs of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
What started with a dream and a blank plot of land has become a living, learning space filled with joy, growth, and laughter — every detail intentionally created for young learners.

At Dandelion Dreams, we believe children learn best when in an environment that makes them feel safe and loved. Our home-like environment nurtures not only academic growth but also social and emotional development. We recognize the profound impact of a positive and supportive environment on a child’s well-being.

Experience Curriculum - The Experience Curriculum from Brightwheel is a comprehensive early childhood education program that emphasizes holistic development, blending social-emotional learning with cognitive and physical growth. Rooted in the latest research, this play-based curriculum helps children understand and manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, and develop essential academic and physical skills. By fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning, the Experience Curriculum prepares children for lifelong success. It also actively engages families, creating strong home-school connections that support each child's development and well-being.
Safe and Secure Environment - Dandelion Dreams prioritizes the safety and well-being of every child. Our facility will be equipped with modern security measures (e.g., fire alarm system, code locking doors, locking windows, classroom and perimeter cameras), and we adhere to strict safety protocols put forth by the state of Vermont to create a secure environment for children and staff.
Parental Involvement - We believe in fostering strong partnerships with parents and guardians. Regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and involvement in special events are encouraged to ensure a collaborative approach to a child’s development.
